Art expressing the predicament we are in. This is a clay sculpture that I just finished that speaks to living in the midst of the pandemic. It is now at the foundry to be cast in bronze. Titled, Into the Unknown, it captures a sense of abandon. You could say that the figure has cast his fate to the wind. Is he afraid? Or is he open to what the future holds? Or both? I see the sculpture as art mirroring our experience in these uncertain times.
