Transfixed<\/p><\/div>\n

I am pleased to announce that I have recently returned from the foundry with a new sculpture, entitled Transfixed. \u00a0This piece conjures an image of a female whose form is crossed twice, once by her crossed legs and second by her crossed arms. At first glance, the viewer might interpret the fact that her limbs are crossed as evidence that she is protecting herself. However, the question arises as to whether she is in fact self-possessed and at peace, even in a trance, as it were. \u00a0It was first displayed \u00a0during the Art Collectors Soiree, which I held in my studio and gardens in September.<\/p>\n
